Central Valley came out on top against Lathrop on Thursday thanks in part to Mason Whitworth's efforts. Whitworth was dynamite, going 3-for-4 with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. He has become a key player for Central Valley: the team is undefeated when he posts at least two runs, but 5-7 otherwise.
