After having lost a blowout in their previous game against East Bladen, South Columbus was happy to have turned things around on Wednesday. They blew past the Pender Patriots 9-3. South Columbus might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won ten contests by three goals or more this season.

They hit Pender with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Riley Grice (4), Karys Townsend (3), Brianna Price, and Janaya Frinks.

South Columbus has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 11-8-1 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 22 goals over those five games. As for Pender, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 14 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-13 record this season.

As of now, neither South Columbus nor Pender have any future games scheduled.
