Football Recap: Tri-Valley Takes a Tough Playoff Loss + How To Watch

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Tri-Valley can now relate to. They had to suffer through a 48-6 loss at the hands of the Bishop Watterson Eagles. The contest marked the Scotties' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Despite the defeat, Tri-Valley saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Leevi Wade rushed for 134 yards.

Jack McCoy was his usual excellent self, rushing for 74 yards and two scores for Bishop Watterson. Ben Lamielle also helped out with an impressive 85 receiving yards.

Tri-Valley's loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 9-3. As for Bishop Watterson, their victory bumped their record up to 11-0.

Tri-Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Bishop Watterson, they will challenge Steubenville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Big Red will roll in looking for their tenth straight win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
