Softball Recap: Timberlake Comes Up Short

It was a proper cat-fight when Timberlake challenged Mooreland on Thursday. The Tigers took a 9-5 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bearcats. The Tigers haven't had much luck with the Bearcats recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Timberlake's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Mooreland, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-12.

Coming up, Timberlake will challenge Seiling at 3:15 p.m. on Thursday. The Wildcats' pitching crew has only allowed 4.1 runs per game this season, so the Tigers' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mooreland, they have already played their next matchup, a 6-3 loss against Beaver on the 6th.
