Football Recap: Jordan-Matthews Skates Past North Stokes with Ease

Jordan-Matthews got themselves on the board against North Stokes on Friday, but North Stokes never followed suit. They breezed past the Vikings to the tune of 58-0. The win was just business as usual for the Jets, who after three games remain undefeated this season.

Jakari Blue went supernova, rushing for 87 yards and three TDs on only eight carries. Those three rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Wins are hard to come by when you can't run the rock, something Jordan-Matthews proved: they limited North Stokes to a paltry 1.8 yards per carry. The Jets didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 8.5.

Jordan-Matthews' victory bumped their record up to 3-0. As for North Stokes, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-3.

Jordan-Matthews wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 42-6 win against Wheatmore on the 12th. As for North Stokes, they have also already played their next contest, a 55-7 loss against Patrick County on the 12th.
