Football Recap: Tri-Valley Has No Trouble Against Hamilton Township

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Tri-Valley had no problem doing just that on Friday. They strolled past the Hamilton Township Rangers with points to spare, taking the game 41-27. The Scotties pushed the score to 35-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Rangers cut but never quite recovered from.

Tri-Valley pushed their record up to 9-2 with the victory, which was their third straight at home. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.0 points over those games. As for Hamilton Township, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Tri-Valley will venture away from home to take on Bishop Watterson at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Scotties will need to watch out since the Eagles have now posted at least 31 points in their last eight contests. Hamilton Township does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
