Basketball Game Preview: Trinity Celtics vs. Smoky Valley Vikings

The Trinity Celtics will square off against the Smoky Valley Vikings on Tuesday. Trinity has given up an average of 55 points per game this season, but Tuesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

On Friday, Trinity was within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 58-53 to Remington. The Celtics have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Smoky Valley). They breezed past Nickerson to the tune of 68-29 on Friday. The win continues a trend for the Vikings in their matchups with the Panthers: they've now won six in a row.

Trinity's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Smoky Valley, the victory was their first on the road, bumping their record up to 5-3.

Everything went Trinity's way against Smoky Valley when the teams last played back in January of 2025, as Trinity made off with a 52-30 win. Do the Celtics have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Vikings turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
