Recap: Arbor View Aggies vs. Calvary Christian Academy Eagles
The Arbor View Aggies are ranked highly in their home state, and on Thursday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of the Calvary Christian Academy Eagles. Arbor View took a 79-67 hit to the loss column at the hands of Calvary Christian Academy. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Despite the loss, Arbor View still got an impressive performance from Pharaoh Compton, who dropped a double-double on 22 points and ten rebounds. Compton is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down eight or more in the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was DeMarion Yap, who scored 12 points.
Arbor View has not been sharp recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-5 record this season. As for Calvary Christian Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-3.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Arbor View and Liberty will face off at 9:00 a.m. on December 22nd without much rest after finishing up games yesterday. Liberty is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling. Calvary Christian Academy will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Hialeah Educational Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 4, 2024.
