East Rowan won the last time they faced Concord and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mustangs put the hurt on the Spiders with a sharp 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mustangs.

While East Rowan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the third set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-22.

Alli Corl paced East Rowan's offense, picking up 19 kills. Corl got some help from Jacee Eudy and her 29 assists. Corl was also solid from the service line: she led the team with five aces.

East Rowan's victory bumped their record up to 16-10. As for Concord, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 9-13 record this season.
