Basketball Recap: Harlan Takes a Loss

Harlan saw some tournament action on Friday. They took a 69-57 hit to the loss column at the hands of the McKinney Boyd Broncos. The Hawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Harlan's defeat dropped their record down to 6-5. As for McKinney Boyd, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-3.

Looking ahead, Harlan and South San Antonio will face off at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest, having both just played. The Hawks will be up against the Bobcats' rather soft defense (which has allowed 56.8 points per game), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for McKinney Boyd, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Judson at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
