Soccer Game Preview: Rocky Mountain vs. Fossil Ridge + How To Watch

The Rocky Mountain Lobos will face off against the Fossil Ridge SaberCats at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Rocky Mountain is headed into the match having not lost since September 19 and will look to keep things rolling. They never let Greeley West get on the board and left with a 2-0 victory on Tuesday. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Rocky Mountain were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Fossil Ridge waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with four straight wins... but they left with five. They were the clear victors by a 4-0 margin over the Red Wolves. Fossil Ridge's defense has been rock solid lately; the team hasn't given up a goal in their last four contests.

Rocky Mountain's win bumped their record up to 6-4-3. As for Fossil Ridge, their victory bumped their record up to 8-3-2.

Rocky Mountain skirted past Fossil Ridge 1-0 when the teams last played back in October of 2024. Will the Lobos repeat their success, or do the SaberCats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
