Volleyball Recap: Westminster Catawba Christian Triumphs + How To Watch

With a playoff win on the line, Westminster Catawba Christian rose to the challenge on Tuesday. They walked away with a 3-1 win over the Westchester Country Day Wildcats. This was payback for the Indians, who suffered a 3-2 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Westminster Catawba Christian was especially dominant in the first set. The final score came out to 25-10, 25-23, 21-25, 25-19.

Sophie Sherer was the offensive standout of the matchup as she had 21 digs and two aces. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in assists (ten).

Westminster Catawba Christian's victory bumped their record up to 13-14. As for Westchester Country Day, their loss was their tenth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 4-15.
