Softball Recap: Jefferson County Falls to Jenkins County in First Game of Season

Jefferson County kicked off their season on the road on Wednesday and hit a couple of potholes. They lost 19-0 to the Jenkins County War Eagles. The defeat continues a trend for the Warriors in their meetings with the War Eagles: they've now lost five in a row.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Jefferson County will venture away from home to take on Washington County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Jenkins County, they will head out to square off against Swainsboro at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.
