Football Recap: Osawatomie Trojans vs. Baldwin Bulldogs

Friday just wasn't the day for Osawatomie's offense. They were outmatched by the Baldwin Bulldogs and fell 48-0. The Trojans haven't had much luck with the Bulldogs recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Dodge Browning threw for 59 yards on six of 17 attempts. Ben Fields was his top target, picking up 34 receiving yards.

Bryis Alford produced another solid effort throwing for 213 yards and three touchdowns on only 13 passes, while also rushing for 60 yards and one score on only five carries for Baldwin. Alford is becoming a predictor of the Bulldogs' success: when he posts at least three passing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 1-3 when he doesn't). Kreyton Frost was another key player, rushing for 102 yards and one TD on only 14 carries.

Osawatomie wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 78-7 defeat against Hiawatha on the 30th. As for Baldwin, they have also already played their next matchup, a 55-12 loss against Holton on the 31st.
