Basketball Recap: Christian Academy Starts off Right with Win over Evansville Day

Christian Academy took care of business in their home opener on Saturday. They took down the Evansville Day Eagles 41-26.

Christian Academy got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Monroe Beardsley out in front who went 6-for-13 en route to 13 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Noah Vance, who posted five points in addition to 16 boards and seven assists.

Evansville Day's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Christian Academy has already played their next game, a 56-55 loss against Owen Valley on the 29th. As for Evansville Day, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 64-28 defeat against Loogootee on the 29th.
