After a string of four wins, Fairfield's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Shades Valley Mounties. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Tigers of the 3-0 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in August of 2022.

Fairfield's defeat dropped their record down to 10-5. As for Shades Valley, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Fairfield wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 2-0 win against Center Point on the 27th. Shades Valley has also already played their next match (against Pinson Valley), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
