Basketball Recap: Douglass Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

Douglass and Lackey squared off in some playoff action on Tuesday, but Douglass had to settle for second. They fell 61-53 to the Lackey Chargers. The game marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Leading Lackey to victory were Isaiah Mansaray and Malik Gordon. Mansaray shot 43% from the field on his way to 25 points and three steals, while Gordon posted 14 points and six boards. The contest was Mansaray's fourth in a row with at least 24 points. Another player making a difference was Devin Leigh, who put up six points.

Douglass' defeat dropped their record down to 18-6. As for Lackey, the victory (which was their 16th in a row) raised their record to 22-2.

As of now, neither Douglass nor Lackey have any future games scheduled.
