South Salem had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. Everything went their way against the Barlow Bruins on Saturday as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was familiar territory for the Saxons, who have now won nine matchups in a row.

South Salem was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-20.

Briella Mathis paced South Salem's offense, picking up 11 kills. Mathis got some help from Kamree Orizotti and her 29 assists.

South Salem's win bumped their record up to 30-7-1. As for Barlow, they moved to 15-7 with that defeat, which also ended their five-match winning streak.

As of now, neither South Salem nor the Bruins have any future games scheduled.
