Basketball Recap: Monroe Township Snags Tenth Victory in Last 11 Games

Monroe Township waltzed into their matchup on Tuesday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They took down the Piscataway Chiefs 57-43. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 52-46 back in January.

Monroe Township has also been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 54.8 points per game. As for Piscataway, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost seven of their last eight contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Coincidentally, Monroe Township and Piscataway will both be playing Hillsborough the next time they take the court. Monroe Township will host Hillsborough at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Piscataway will host them at 5:30 p.m. on February 13th.
