Volleyball Recap: Happy Camp Indians vs. Hayfork Timberjacks

Happy Camp was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Hayfork Timberjacks. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Indians of the 3-1 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture on Thursday.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-4, 25-10.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Hayfork to victory, but perhaps none more so than Sidney Medellin, who had eight kills and eight aces. With that strong performance, Medellin is now averaging an impressive 2.2 aces per game. Jade Buell was another key player, getting nine aces.

Happy Camp's defeat dropped their record down to 0-10. As for Hayfork, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 12-8.
