Softball Recap: Spotsylvania Falls Short of Patrick Henry in the Playoffs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Spotsylvania can now relate to. They fell 7-2 to the Patrick Henry Patriots on Friday. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Knights couldn't push the score so high this time.

Spotsylvania saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madison Perryman, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple.

Spotsylvania's defeat dropped their record down to 14-7. As for Patrick Henry, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 16-4.

As of now, neither Spotsylvania nor the Patriots have any future games scheduled.
