Football Recap: Irvington Vikings vs. Kennedy Titans
While Irvington put up plenty of points on Friday, the same can't be said for Kennedy. The Vikings really took it to the Titans for the full four quarters, racking up a 33-0 victory. The result was nothing new for the Vikings, who have now won three games by 30 points or more so far this season.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Irvington to victory, but perhaps none more so than Gabrial Aruwah, who picked up 97 receiving yards and two touchdowns. Aruwah also deserves a shoutout for his performance on D, making two total tackles and defending one pass in addition to snagging two interceptions. Ethan Insixiengmay got in on the action as well, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Irvington was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 235 rushing yards. That's the most rushing yards they've posted since back in October of 2024.
Irvington didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off three passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Aruwah and Insixiengmay. Insixiengmay got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.
Irvington's win bumped their record up to 7-3. As for Kennedy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.
Irvington didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 45-6 defeat against Hayward on the 14th. Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
