Volleyball Recap: Florin Comes Up Short + How To Watch

Fans were treated to a battle of the Panthers on Tuesday. Florin lost 3-0 to Modesto. Florin has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Florin was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the first set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 25-21, 25-16.

Clairedy Lo paced Florin's offense, picking up five kills. Lo got some help from Jesse Lee and her five assists. Lee also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Divya Sharma, racking up three apiece.

Florin's defeat dropped their record down to 2-8. As for Modesto, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-17.

Florin has already played their next game, a 3-0 loss against Johnson on the 17th. As for Modesto, they will venture away from home to take on Turlock at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. This will be the Panthers' first chance to prove their worth in the conference.
