After soaring to 56 points the game before, Hinckley-Finlayson was a bit more limited in their contest on Friday. They were dealt a 64-27 loss at the hands of the East Central Eagles. The match marked the Jaguars' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Hinckley-Finlayson has been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season. As for East Central, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hinckley-Finlayson will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. East Central is facing Pine City at the right time seeing as Pine City is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
