Wells is a perfect 4-0 against Chicago Marshall since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Raiders will challenge the Commandos at 5:00 p.m.

On Monday, Wells didn't have quite enough to beat Chicago Sullivan and fell 2-1. The Raiders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Wells actually scored more points across those three sets (64-63), but sadly they still had to settle for second. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 25-21, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Chicago Marshall sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over Spry Community Links on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Commandos in their matchups with the Spartans: they've now won three in a row.

Chicago Marshall had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The final score came out to 17-25, 25-21, 25-19.

Chicago Marshall's win bumped their record up to 4-5. As for Wells, they now have a losing record of 6-7.

Wells beat Chicago Marshall 2-0 in their previous matchup back in April of 2025. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
