Volleyball Recap: Paw Paw Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Paw Paw can now relate to. They came up short against the Three Rivers Wildcats on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Red Wolves in their meetings with the Wildcats: they've now lost eight in a row.

Leading Three Rivers to victory were Leah Kane and Peyton Roberts. Kane had ten digs and one assist, while Roberts had eight digs. Kane has been hot, having posted ten or more digs the last six times she's played.

Paw Paw's defeat dropped their record down to 11-19-2. As for Three Rivers, they are on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 30-11-3 record this season.

As of now, neither Paw Paw nor Three Rivers have any future games scheduled.
