Volleyball Recap: 11 Straight Road Victories for Great Bend

Great Bend took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Maize South, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Panthers narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Mavericks 2-1.

If you add up the scores from across all three sets (69-64) Great Bend actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The match finished with set scores of 13-25, 26-24, 25-20.

Great Bend can attribute much of their success to Ava Kaiser, who had 12 digs and one assist. That's the most digs Kaiser has posted over her last six contests.
