Football Recap: Kiefer Skates Past Hugo with Ease

Kiefer barely beat Hugo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans really took it to the Buffaloes for the full four quarters, racking up a 55-20 win. The Trojans pushed the score to 53-14 by the end of the third, a deficit the Buffaloes cut but never quite recovered from.

Cash Worley threw for 89 yards and one touchdown while completing 75% of his passes. Doug Crowder was his top target, picking up 39 receiving yards. On the ground, Kj Bowers rushed for 101 yards on only seven carries.

Although Hugo took the loss, they still got scores from Jamari Scroggins, D'Airreon Jeffries, and Quincy Shelton.

The victory was the third in a row for Kiefer, bringing their record up to 5-2. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 42.7 points. As for Hugo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season.
