Softball Recap: Highland Extends Winning Streak to Three

Highland entered their tilt with Arvin on Wednesday with two consecutive wins , and they'll enter their next game with three. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Arvin Bears an 11-0 shutout. Considering the Scots have won five matches by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

The team relied heavily on Gracie Luna, who went 1-for-2 with one home run and four RBI. That home run was her first of the season. Janaye Phillips was another key player, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 2-for-2.

Highland's record is now 7-1-2. As for Arvin, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Looking ahead, Highland will take on Centennial at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Arvin, they will be playing at home against South at 4:00 p.m. on March 20th.
