Basketball Recap: Goodrich Comes Up Short

Goodrich was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 26th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Chester Yellowjackets, falling 45-19. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Hornets have suffered against the Yellowjackets since December 8, 2022.

Loss or not, Goodrich got some senior leadership from Sky Wrightson and Joshua James. Wrightson posted seven points, while James had six points.

Goodrich's defeat dropped their record down to 0-12. As for Chester, they moved to 2-7 with that victory, which also ended their seven-game losing streak.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Chester beat Goodrich by a score of 57-23 on Tuesday.
