Volleyball Recap: Hutchison Takes a Loss

After flying high against St. Agnes Academy on Tuesday, Hutchison came back down to earth. The Sting came up short against the St. Mary's Episcopal Turkeys on Wednesday, falling 3-0. The defeat continues a trend for the Sting in their meetings with the Turkeys: they've now lost eight in a row.

The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-19, 25-17.

Hutchison's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for St. Mary's Episcopal, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 9-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Hutchison will square off against Harding Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for St. Mary's Episcopal, they will challenge St. Agnes Academy at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
