Basketball Game Preview: West Muskingum Tornadoes vs. KIPP Columbus Jaguars

The West Muskingum Tornadoes will challenge the KIPP Columbus Jaguars at 4:45 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

West Muskingum took care of business in their home opener (and then some) last Wednesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Lakewood 58-12. The game was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 36-7.

West Muskingum found their leader in sophomore Noah Morrison, who went 5-for-7 to rack up 11 points and six steals. Another player making a difference was Kyle Porter, who posted ten points.

Meanwhile, KIPP Columbus was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were six points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 72-66 heartbreaker at the hands of Zanesville.
