Basketball Recap: Chesapeake Takes a Loss

If Chesapeake was riding high fresh off their 59-37 takedown of South Webster last Saturday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Chesapeake Panthers took a 40-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ironton Fighting Tigers. The matchup marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Chesapeake has been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-3 record this season. As for Ironton, their record now sits at 4-5.

Chesapeake and Tolsia will round out the year against one another at at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Ironton, they will be playing at home against Dawson-Bryant at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
