Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Brynnan Paul and Kambree Walters Lead Botkins to Victory + How To Watch

Botkins won the last time they faced Ansonia and things went their way on Thursday too. The Trojans came out on top against the Tigers by a score of 3-1. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Trojans.

Botkins walked away with the victory (and looked especially good in the fourth set). The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 23-25, 25-23, 25-12.

Leading Botkins to victory were Kambree Walters and Brynnan Paul. Walters had 19 digs and one assist, while Paul had 17 digs. Walters has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 12 times she's played. Aspen Brown also deserves some recognition as she served her first ace of the season.

Botkins' record is now 10-12. As for Ansonia, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-10.

Coming up, Botkins will be taking part in a tournament against Lehman Catholic at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Ansonia, they will host Tri-Village at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
