Soccer Recap: Shafter Plays to a Tie

For the first time since back in December of 2024, Shafter was forced to settle for a draw on Tuesday. They and the Chavez Titans finished up on equal footing with a 0-0 draw.

With that draw, Shafter's record moves to 4-4-4. Meanwhile, Chavez's record is now 4-7-4.

Shafter has already played their next matchup (against Taft), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. Chavez will welcome McFarland at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Chavez's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.
