Volleyball Game Preview: South Salem Saxons vs. South Eugene Axe + How To Watch

The South Salem Saxons will face off against the South Eugene Axe at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. South Salem will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

South Salem is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Saturday. Everything went their way against Barlow as they made off with a 3-0 victory.

South Salem was especially dominant in the second set. The final score came out to 25-16, 25-12, 25-20.

South Salem can attribute much of their success to Ellenia Setzer, who had 12 digs and one assist, and Leah Ioane, who had four digs and two aces.

Meanwhile, South Eugene made easy work of Westview on Saturday and carried off a 3-0 win.

South Eugene's victory bumped their record up to 22-3. As for South Salem, their win bumped their record up to 30-7-1.

South Salem beat South Eugene 2-0 in their previous meeting back in October. Will the Saxons repeat their success, or do the Axe have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
