Seton Catholic had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 15.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it five on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the King's Way Christian Knights an 18-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 15-0 on Tuesday.

Seton Catholic's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for King's Way Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-3 record this season.

Seton Catholic and King's Way Christian will both get a bit of extra prep time before their next games. The next time the Cougars see the field they'll take on Fort Vancouver at 4:00 p.m. on the 15th. As for King's Way Christian, their break will end when they face Toutle Lake at 4:00 p.m. on the 13th.
