It's playoff time, and Amite had no trouble coming through when it counted. They claimed a resounding 59-20 victory over the Cohen Green Hornets. The Warriors' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Amite has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 33.0 points over those games. As for Cohen, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-8 record this season.

Amite will face off against Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Cohen does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
