Basketball Game Preview: New Richmond Tigers vs. Hudson Raiders

New Richmond is 1-9 against Hudson since December of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Friday. The New Richmond Tigers will venture away from home to face off against the Hudson Raiders at 7:15 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, the two teams will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Friday, New Richmond escaped with a win against Menomonie by the margin of a single free throw, 58-57. The Tigers haven't had any issues with the Mustangs recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

Meanwhile, everything went Hudson's way against D.C. Everest on Saturday as Hudson made off with a 56-35 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raiders.

Hudson's win bumped their record up to 13-8. As for New Richmond, their victory bumped their record up to 9-11.

New Richmond came up short against Hudson in their previous matchup back in January, falling 73-68. Can New Richmond avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
