Soccer Recap: East Valley Comes Up Short at Home Against Reseda

East Valley unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-pitch advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Reseda Regents on Friday, falling 5-2. The contest was a close 3-2 at the break, but unfortunately for East Valley it sure didn't stay that way.

Genesis Escobar wasn't going to let Reseda walk away unscathed as she scored both of East Valley's goals.

Looking ahead, East Valley will take on Van Nuys at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Reseda, they will face off against Northridge Academy at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
