West Muskingum is 2-8 against John Glenn since April of 2017 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Tornadoes will be playing at home against the Little Muskies at 5:00 p.m. West Muskingum is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 6.4 runs per game this season.

West Muskingum's pitching crew heads into the contest hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Crooksville by a score of 3-0.

Wes Houston was excellent, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, John Glenn lost 13-7 to Morgan on Tuesday.

Zane Townsend made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs while going 1-for-3. Owen Edwards also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

West Muskingum pushed their record up to 5-3 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.8 runs on average over those games. As for John Glenn, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

West Muskingum took their win against John Glenn when the teams last played back in March of 2024 by a conclusive 11-0 score. Do the Tornadoes have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Little Muskies turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
