Soccer Recap: Gold Beach Takes a Loss

Gold Beach was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Coquille/Myrtle Point Red Devils, falling 4-0. Gold Beach were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Coquille/Myrtle Point apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Gold Beach's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Coquille/Myrtle Point, they picked up their first home win, bumping their record up to 2-3-1.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Gold Beach is set to face off against their familiar foe Bandon/Pacific at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Coquille/Myrtle Point will challenge rival Umpqua Valley Christian at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
