Volleyball Recap: James River Comes Up Short + How To Watch

After flying high against Carroll County on Tuesday, James River came back down to earth. The Knights came up short against the Radford Bobcats on Thursday, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bobcats this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in September.

James River has also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-5 record this season. As for Radford, the win was the 11th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 12-1.

James River and Radford should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings. The Knights (ranked 119th) will meet Martinsville (ranked 363rd) at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Radford will square off against Galax at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday with a big rank advantage (26 vs. 248).
