Volleyball Recap: Selah Vikings vs. Columbia River Rapids

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Selah can now relate to. They fell 3-1 to the Columbia River Rapids on Friday. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Vikings of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in November of 2019.

While Selah had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-22, 19-25, 25-19, 25-23.

Selah's loss dropped their record down to 17-7. As for Columbia River, they pushed their record up to 19-2 with the victory, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season.

Selah does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Columbia River, they will challenge Ellensburg at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
