Football Recap: Caiden Wade's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Kosciusko over Louisville + How To Watch

After flying high against Gentry last Friday, Kosciusko came back down to earth. The Whippets took a 29-24 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Louisville Wildcats on Friday. The game marked the Whippets' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Kosciusko lost despite a true team effort on offense. The best among them was Caiden Wade, who rushed for 60 yards and one TD, and also threw for 182 yards and one touchdown. A healthy portion of that aerial production (84 yards to be exact) went to Jontavious Roundtree, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Louisville to victory, but perhaps none more so than Triston Edwards, who rushed for 29 yards and one score, and also threw for 89 yards and one TD. Zaiden Jernigan was another key rusher, rushing for 105 yards and one touchdown.

Having lost for the first time this season, Kosciusko fell to 6-1. As for Louisville, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

Kosciusko has already played their next contest, a 28-7 win against Greenwood on the 17th. As for Louisville, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next matchup, a 44-6 victory against Gentry on the 17th.
