Baseball Recap: Pigeon Forge Comes Up Short

Pigeon Forge lost against South-Doyle back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Tigers fell 8-5 to the Cherokees.

Pigeon Forge's loss dropped their record down to 11-7-2. As for South-Doyle, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 11-14-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Pigeon Forge will face off against Grainger at 12:00 p.m. on Friday. As for South-Doyle, they will square off against Anderson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Cherokees' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Mavericks have averaged an impressive 8.1 runs per game this season.
