Etiwanda is 8-2 against Chino Hills since February of 2020 and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Wednesday. The Etiwanda Eagles will challenge the Chino Hills Huskies at 6:00 p.m. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Last Friday, Etiwanda beat St. Lucy's 3-1. Given the Eagles' advantage in MaxPreps' California soccer rankings (they are ranked 25th, while the Regents are ranked 128th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Meanwhile, Chino Hills kept a clean sheet against Los Osos on Friday. They skirted past the Grizzlies 1-0. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Huskies.

Chino Hills' win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-6-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored eight goals over those three games. As for Etiwanda, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which somehow still isn't as good as their 12-3-2 record this season.

Etiwanda was able to grind out a solid victory over Chino Hills in their previous matchup on January 10th, winning 5-3. The rematch might be a little tougher for Etiwanda since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
