Football Game Recap: Waterville/Mansfield vs. Almira-Coulee-Hartline Warriors

After a string of six wins, The Waterville/Mansfield 's's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a serious blow against Almira-Coulee-Hartline, falling 50-8. The low total for Waterville/Mansfield limited their streak of high-flying scores to six in a row.

Carter Pitts had an outrageously good game for Almira-Coulee-Hartline as he rushed for 218 yards and three touchdowns on only 14 carries. Pitts really tore up the turf during one magnificent 73-yard run. Max Grindy also deserves a shout-out for his two touchdowns.

Waterville/Mansfield's defeat dropped their record down to 7-3. As for Almira-Coulee-Hartline, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 8-2 record this season.
