Volleyball Recap: Make It Three in a Row for Summer Creek

Summer Creek had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Humble Wildcats with a sharp 3-0 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-8, 25-16.

Talia Nelson paced Summer Creek's offense, picking up ten kills. Nelson got some help from Ivy Maxwell and her 20 assists.

Summer Creek's victory bumped their record up to 18-14. As for Humble, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 12-22 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Summer Creek is set to take on their familiar foe Kingwood at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Humble will challenge rival Goose Creek Memorial at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
