Seven Hills not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since September 4, 2024 (when they won 3-0). Everything went their way against the Purcell Marian Cavaliers as they made off with a 3-0 win. The victory was some much needed relief for the Stingers as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

Seven Hills never let Purcell Marian on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-11, 26-24, 25-17.

Seven Hills' win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Purcell Marian, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season.

Seven Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against Cincinnati Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Purcell Marian, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against St. Bernard-Elmwood Place on the 13th.
